[TheForge] OT -- 59 mm Acme thread fittings?

Its true- I have so many unfinished projects that when you can just buy a fitting, I tend to do so. I also dont dig my own ore, or chop my own fire wood any more. I get a couple of cords deliverd, cut to length and split.
But certainly with plumbing, I have found that improvisation is not my strong point. Too many years of dealing with leaks usually has me buying plumbing parts that actually fit.
I save my improv for things I can do better than a factory, not worse, and epoxying the wrong size fitting in has been, for me, one of those areas where my work somehow falls short of a nice premade thread...
But hey, thats just me- I maintain the dozen buildings on my 35 acres, so I get plenty of wiring, plumbing, glazing, carpentry, and miscellaneous repair opportunities.
I tend to just wanna get em done and move on to things I choose to work on, rather than jobs that choose me.
