James, you haven't been dropped. Yes it is quiet. Folks are busy with
other projects.
Here in Southern Louisiana, in the last two weeks, we have had 5
nights of freezing weather
with the temp. in the 18 /19 degree range. That is equivalent to the
-15 that Dann speaks of
in Minnesota. The days didn't get above 40. This is COLD for us.
I leave for my real job at 7am and don't get home before 5pm. There is
no sunlight left
to do outside chores so they all fall on the weekend. Two weekends ago
I finally got around
to installing the old cypress windows in the forge shop. I framed in
for the windows when
we rebuilt the shop from the slab up after hurricane Katrina
demolished the first shop.
The windows are still not functional but it is very nice to get
sunlight into the shop. I had
sheets of plywood covering the window openings since being built.
Last weekend I spent playing with two grandsons. Ethan 10 and Asher 8.
I'm looking forward to March 21st.
