[TheForge] OT - Snow in NJ

I spent Christmas in Michigan with a white Christmas resulting from snow in early Dec and below freezing temps the rest of the month. My wife was driving back from KY on the 27th of Dec. She said there was no snow on the ground from Hancock to Annapolis but the Eastern Shore got hit hard. Snow Hill got 12 inches or so with enough wind to make 3 foot drifts. I know this is late but Dad still has rotary dial phones and no internet.
Hope to see you at Gichner's this weekend. Our demonstrators are Phil Heath & Brian Brazeal.

Phlip,
You're describing what happened here, except for the timing. At 10 AM
we had maybe 1/2" -- just enough to make the sidewalks white. By 5 PM
I'd shoveled three times -- it had blown back each time -- the last
time being about 8" deep. About 2 hours ago was at least 18" out
there. Now there's three feet on my patio (part of which might be
drift) and at least two feet in the back yard. And it's still
snowing.
So, park your car near the street if you still can (so you won't have
to dig out the whole driveway), and don't plan on going anywhere
tomorrow morning.
