I had something interesting happen yesterday.  A few weeks ago I went to use 
the mag-lite that I keep in the shop and it was dead.  I put it back in the 
tool box to deal with later. Well yesterday I finally got the 4 D cell 
batterys to bring it back to life.  When I opened it up there was water 
inside. How could this be, the lites are sealed with O rings.

I removed the batterys and cleaned and dried the lite. I left it on the 
warming shelf of the wood stove while we went to Christmas eve service. 
When we got home I put in the new batterys and it worked. So whatever caused 
the moisture, it didn't damage the lite.
