I remembered that we discussed the use of garlic in olive oil as a treatment of iron as a finish. My wife discovered that botulism spores may generate themselves in this homemade concoction if it is unrefrigerated or kept too long in the frige. Just alerting you. This craft is dangerous enough without botulism coming to get us!
