I have found that two beers, one each, applied two days apart (one on
the original nest, and the second on the new nest after they leave);
will effectively kill off the majority of them, after it has been
filtered through my kidneys.  I don't have neighbors.

Side note- the wife uses rubbing alcohol to spray wasps that have
entered the house.  Rubbing alcohol is reasonably not bad for the
furniture, and not poison for the cats.  It evaporates.  The down side
is that it takes about a minute for them to succumb to the application.
Yes, this works, I have done it myself.
