Philp,

I hurt it real bad about 7 years ago while digging a celler under my house
(Andy, I feel for you, it's a lot of work). That time it took about 6
months to get back to normal. Since then I have reinjured it about 3 times,
but not as bad. Right now I can walk on it without pain if I walk like a
gimp. I expect that if I can avoid more harm for another couple weeks I will
just notice one day that I'm walking without a limp. Getting old sucks,
getting old without insurance really sucks.

I hope your knee gets better, if you can rest it, there is a good chance it
will recover.

I'm trying to set up my shop to save my body, more tooling for my press, the
chop saw table, and trying to use jacks and housts to move heavy stuff. My
21 year old apprentice tends to just lift things, he'll be old some day and
understand why I'm so carefull the way I lift.

Bob, I got news for you- it seldom gets better ;-) I turned 58 a
couple weeks ago, and got a case of Pennsic knee that doesn't seem to
want to go away. Didn't do anything to it, other than walk on it, but,
Oh Well.

Of course, in my case, I can't bitch too much- I had such a good time
getting all bunged up, there's no point...
