a hundred times during the decade I was making regular visits to Boston.

I could have surreptitiously epoxied one them CocaCola bottle openers
-- the chromed kind that used to be screwed to the wall next to the
pop cooler at the general store -- onto it in an inconspicuous place
and at a suitable height.  Then I could have circulated the rumor on
the net that Calder had been obliged to turn it into a bottle opener
in order to get MIT to buy it.

People would have actually travelled to Cambridge to see it it was
true!
