Peter sorry about the delay , but I have just gotten back to my computer.

I think I might occupy the end of the spectrum you are ascribing to Andy.

I have been a fan of his for years ( Yes I will admit that freely)
I know he is pretty much equally opinionated about my end of things.
  The only problem is, he is , at least from his point of reference, 
equally correct not matter who he has in his sights.

  If I was forced to place him anywhere on the political spectrum I'd 
probably have to go with Libertarian with bits of anarchist and 
libertine thrown in for seasoning.
 From that perspective both of our sets of politicians are equally vile.

My only problem with him is that I just wish he'd actually just speak 
his mind.
