You should be able to make hi one and just machine the sections that the
bearing rides on. Or if you are making the potters wheel start with a car
axle. The axle will have a place to mount the wheel and one bearing surface
, Depending on the wheel if it is a kick the axle might just be long enough
that you don't have to cut it to length. The bottom wheel can be fitted to
a split clamp on the axle. Just some random thoughts that might save a
little money .
