Galvanizing works well. There is an iron monument in Mt. Moriah
cemetery in Philly of one Rosa Loiskandel, died 1930. The cross is very
competently made - quite beautiful in fact - and galvanized. There is
ZERO indication of corrosion, despite having been run into by some
dimwit in a car. I did straighten it.
