[TheForge] Insurance (Re: Equipment for a newbie)

We have a farm rider on our insurance too but it's limited coverage, mostly
for personal injuries if a barn cleaning teenager is maulled by a pygmy
goat. The wood stove in the house bumps our insurance a couple hundred a
year and I wouldn't want to even hear what they said about a home made
propane forge. Of course it'd probably be something like NO!

Because I live and work a farm, my shop is covered, but that insurance is
not
cheap.

That insurance agent is probably wrong.I had some storm damage and the
adjuster agreed to cover the damage but a second adjuster came later
and said they couldn't cover the shop under the house policy. That I
had to get a commercial policy. I have a coal stove and a coal forge.
