[TheForge] followup on holes in saw blade- broken bolts and left handed drills

One old time way to cut cast iron is to cut through a 
sacrifice piece of steel on top of the cast...using the 
heat of the steel cut to blow on through the cast iron.
In either case..that'd be a pretty ragged hole to try to 
re-drill.
And you risk cracking the cast.
