It's obvious that one of the overlooked effects of all those welding
vapors and metal fumes is a pernicious influence on the brain.

  In such cases we see a malignant efflorescence of the Corpus
  Punnicus and fulminating growth of the Wortspiel Nucleus that may
  overwhelm the normal functioning of Broca's Area and, indeed, may
  even suppress activity in the frontal lobes to a degree reminiscent
  of the Phineas Gage case of 1848.

Better get those masks, respirators and ventilation systems going.
