Yea, verily! Same deal with wiping down crane girders with Xylol. Hang 'em
from a work bay crane and crawl all over/under them with rags and xylol.
S'where I got my saying: "I stand behind my work, never under it."
It's just a little scary crawling, or even standing, under a suspended 25-30
ton load and hoping all those chain links, cable strands, and brake shoes
are holding hands up there. Makes one downright paranoid, just a bit. Hardly
anybody ever thinks that many cranes weigh much _more_ than the load they're
supposed to lift.:)
