On your recommendation Jerry, i ordered some of the firehose , double 
front pants. They are more comfy than carharts and show almost no wear 
after half a dozen washings.
For a while they were offering yr money back if you could wear a pair out.
I've become soured on carhart who used to proudly tout " Made in 
USA"..no more...also, some years back they changed the fabric so that it 
became much less wear and flame resistant.
