Although I have two bench mounted post vises  I also have a post vise and 
7" bench vise mounted on truck wheels. I had some  10" pipe scavenged from 
somewhere so drilled some holes in a couple plates,  welded them to both ends 
of the correct length pipe and bolted the plates to the  wheels and vises. 
Very convenient to move here and there and surprisingly sturdy  for banging 
and bending.
