Frosty,
That's too much like work!
My thought was to somehow stick a row of pennies onto some masking
tape, then paint them with some adhesive (RTV? roofing mastic?),
invert the whole thing along the roof to apply pennies + stickup to
roof, then either peel off the masking tape or just let it weather
away.
But I don't relish putting pennies onto masking tape one by one. So
I'm trying to figure out how to lay out the pennies on a neat row and
apply masking tape to pennies. Almost there, but not quite.
