Could you build a cradle and brace to set it on so the weight of the forge
holds it in place?

Subject: [TheForge] Forge rails
After 22 years I finally bought a new Whisper Daddy from NC. I had patched
and welded and re-lined and replaced the old one so much it was hardly
recognizable. I would like to put some kind of sliding support rails
similar
to what I had welded on my old forge. But I hate to weld through the new
shiny finish. Anyone have any suggestions for some kind of attached brace
to
hold stock in front while heating that does not require welding.
Thanks for any ideas
Don Plummer
