[TheForge] blackened steel finish

This is the second dog that I have been w/during the final sleep. I agree with you that someone should be there telling them that they are loved during their final moments. It is the least that we can do for all the pleasure and companionship that they provide us with their short lives. We don't get a lot of time with pets as their lives are much shorter than ours. SO we must do our best to do nothing but love them while they are here...That goes for human beings as well...As hard as it seems to be at times we must strive to do so..

Oh Mark I offer my deepest condolences for the loss of a family member. At
least Pepe wasn't alone, as much as it hurts I think it makes a huge
difference to have their person there when the time comes. Don't worry, God
gave dogs and us the honor of being pack mates and he'll comfort Pepe today,
Libby and all our lost companions and keep them till we join them.

Dam son...glad to hear you are ok..

On a related note, our beloved Pepe the Daschund was suddenly paralyzed
today and I held him as they administered the sleep aid. It is a TOUGH day
today, especially for my wife as that was here buddy. We are now left w/the
half blood hound half yellow lab who is a real love bug. But it pains us as
a reminder of Pepe always sleeping on him and taunting him. This is going to
hurt for a while. Especially fo me as I was witness to the moment he became
paralyzed, was in agonizing pain and I couldn't help him. Praying to God
that he reminds that little bundle of joy how much he was loved and will be
missed.
