[TheForge] cutting wood

While it's true wood chips are almost always green they're also quite small
so the surface area to volume ratio is large. They'll dry quite quickly
compared to say split stovewood. It doesn't take heat, a breeze across or
through a spread layer will do it, especially if it's below zero.

Regardless if it's pretty easy needing to properly dry chips is something
that can really mess things up if you don't know about it. For instance
green wood generates a lot more creosote than dry wood and creosote is a
leading cause of wood burner related house fires.

Anyway, good call Walter, drying wood is IMPORTANT. (Uh, it IS Walter isn't
it? I forget, goes with trying to catch a falling tree with my head I
guess.)
