[TheForge] cutting wood

I've known a number of gals who enjoyed some four wheeling Bob but I don't
think I've ever known one who'd be willing to be the Wench on the Power
Wagon. Of course I HAVE lived a pretty sheltered life.

Actually I wish I had a Gin pole and wInch on my old Chevy pickup, it'd help
out doing a lot of things around here. If I'd ever put one of my Skido
Alpines together before someone offered me too much to say no to, one of
them would be perfect for hauling logs out of the woods with. You've never
seen a snowmachine pull like an Alpine can pull and they pack a terrific
double wide trail for the sledge too. Oh well I guess it's the excavator or
buy logs. <sigh> I'm not too worried about cutting trees again, I still
remember what to look for and what to do, this time was once in a couple
thousand trees so I think the odds are still okay. Deb on the other hand
couldn't help but worry herself to death and me into a sorry state if I
started dropping trees too soon. Heck, she's probably always going to worry
any time I'm in the woods but some things are just pushing it.

Anyway, I love operating excavators so that's an easy to live with option.

Frosty the Lucky.
