Andy,

I had a similar issue with not being able to control my own site. i
highly recommend http://otherpeoplespixels.com/ . they are constantly
upgrading the features, it's super cheap and you can do whatever you
want with your images yourself. I might not be fancy like some sites
but it's simple to use and you can get a whole site up in an evening!
You can even sell directly through paypal on it if that's your thing.
