Am i wrong in thinking that torch cutting could warp the hell out of
her work and it must be primarily plasma cutting? i often wonder how
she has such a steady hand and doesn't cut through the odd little
line.
On another note i'm still not over the
"most_beautiful_smith_in_the_world" business even though it's been a
few days. Depressing to me that this was how she was described.
Although i've decided to add physical descriptions of all the men's
work i think are hot from now on. ;-)
Today i had to replace my acetylene regulator from my oxy/acet kit
(which was over 9 years at least) and as i was leaving the shop, the
guy felt the need to tell me how to adjust the working pressure on my
tank! At first i thought he was trying to tell me something WAY more
complicated because how on earth would he think i didn't know that
when i just spoke at length about my regulator and had been in there
tons of times. I've been doing metalwork for 20 years and almost every
time i go to pick up supplies this happens. So, just to say, adding
gendered descriptions to someone just because they are female does no
one any good in the long run. Cal is very talented. If she wasn't
'attractive" would that make a difference?
