[TheForge] insurance

I have a general liability policy that also covers my buildings and
equipment, even including my metalworking library and slides.
I got it from Safeco, but now Safeco got bought by somebody else- I
think its called Liberty now.
Its just a general business liability policy, not a blacksmith
specific one.
Not particularly cheap.
I needed a one million dollar liability policy- virtually every big
developer, contractor, or public art project I work on requires a
million, as a matter of course.
And that, in and of itself, is around $1000 to $1400 a year. My fire,
theft, and damage policies for my shops and equipment and work in
progress are all on top of that- but I have over 10,000 sq feet under
roof, including 6 buildings, 3 of em new pole barns, so my premiums
are a lot higher than somebody's would be for one small shop.
