[TheForge] insurance

Five or so years ago, I had an insurance issue respective to my farm shop.

As long as it was just for my own farm repair, I had coverage. However
when I mentioned  doing "blacksmithing" it raised a red flag. The
insurance company notified me that they were going to drop me.

At first I thought it related to the potential liability of doing custom
work and welding,  but it  went farther than that.  Even making for items
to sell at Rendez Vous &  Ren Faires would result in the underwriter
dropping my insurance.

Farm use as OK, as long as it wasn't being used for "commercial" purposes.
As a result of my mentioning "blacksmithing"  I had to sign a rider that
my shop would not be used for commercial purposes, to keep my farm policy.

The scope of the issue was that they were dropping all  my insurance on
all of my farm buildings.  They way I understood it, even me buying a
separate policy for the shop, I still couldn't get them to "just" exclude
my farm shop.  That ended my thoughts of trying to turn the hobby into 
generating some income.  A separate, 2nd "off farm"  blacksmith shop
wasn't in the cards for me.
