Dave,
I have a Slip Ring roller in my shop for sale in East Bethel, MN.
It's owner needed a place to store it and I volunteered. He wants
around $3000 for it. It weighs about #2500 lbs and rolls (approx) 50
inch sheet into a tube 5 in in diameter. I have rolled 1/2 square
stock into a ring. It is hand cranked but you can easily attach a
motor to it. With the gearing (huge) you could roll 1/2 thick plate
by hand. It comes with seriously heavy duty casters. It actually
bent the ramp on my trailer when we rolled it down into the shop. I
had to remove a wall of the shop to get inside.
Let me know if you are interested and I will get you a picture.
