Can't blame you.  SoCal was s a study in love-hate for me.  I had a lot 
of fun but that was 1976-78 and it is a whole lot mo' worser now.  Used 
to do breakfast every morning at the Pantry for $1.20 :) - or "we're so 
stoned we're going to eat your shelves bare" meals at 3 AM after getting 
back from Griffith Park or hanging with the surfer creatures in San 
Pedro.  And we didn't care that much that the air was brown-orange most 
of the time.
