[TheForge] OT - Snow in NJ

Yeah, well that is because what is a huge snowfall for them is a light
dusting for us. Last winter at the peak of the Lake Effect storms that hit
us here, I measured 53 inches of snowfall on my front porch... I had to dig
trenches on the deck, down the steps, around the car, and out to the shop.
The dog came out in it while I was digging the car out and ran up the
snowbank at the edge of the driveway and disappeared in the yard. Then I
saw him tunneling around in it like a cartoon rabbit. Pretty much normal for
these parts...

I live south of Kent at the edge of the secondary snow belt. Compared to you
guys we don't get any snow. Isn't amazing how if a storm hits the east coast
it's big news but if it hits us barely a peep?
