Hello folks,
Dear LORD my father was blessed with good and numerous friends!  It's become
almost impossible to keep track of you all!  I don't mind, really, but I
want to try to make it a little easier without blasting out to many mailing
lists and newsgroups.
To wit, if you'd like to leave a remembrance or a note about John, please go

MANY people have asked about a memorial service.  As there is no "laying
in," we of the family plan to do something with enough notice that anyone
who would like to attend will have significant advanced notice.  If you're
interested in being kept up to date on the memorial please send a brief
email to jphlist at gmail dot com.  We'll build a mailing list and send it
out to everyone's private email.  The earliest will likely be towards the
end of January.
There WILL be a memorial at Pennsic War, as well.
Thank you all for all your kind words, the love expressed has helped.  This
will be the last mass-mailing to the various lists and I will be researching
unsubscribing this email account from most of them.
