The ad peter linked to is a distributor- a company that sells all kinds of tools.
The hammers shown in the pics are almost certainly either Anyangs or Shanxi's- Anyang is the largest single hammer and press builder on earth, and Shanxi is a large, older company with lots of experience making machines like this
As I said before, both of these companies, and one other, have been exporting hammers to the USA for at least 10 to 15 years- many, many US blacksmiths have been using these for a long time.
I have had mine for close to ten years now, myself.
Like Andy, I would rather have a Nazel, as well.
Anybody wants to sell me a brand new 1B, or, hell, even a 2 B, for $5000 that I paid for my 1B sized chinese machine, give us a call.
The last quoted prices for brand new Chambersburgs, before they went bust, were in the vicinity of $125,000 for a 150lb hammer.
And Nazels usually cost more than Chambersburgs.
