were out of date (from 2005), so I just updated them, hope I got that right

there are a lot of alloys out there!  What are the most common ones?
Ones findable among ['common' to any particular special-purpose] scrap?
such as boats, auto, off-roading gear, decommissioned eqpt?

IFF you know which alloy you have... or maybe this could help you determine
which alloy you have, if you can measure or control heat precisely, LOL.
