I ran across an antique Buffalo blower complete with equally antique GE 
motor that runs AC/DC.  The blower halves were pressed steel - not cast 
iron - and the wires on the motor were shot, but I could hook it up 
enough to tell it worked.  So I had the motor rewired and put a motor 
control (I presume that is just a fan control as opposed to a light 
dimmer) rotary switch at the forge. Piped it up to the tuyere with dryer 
hose and I'm off and running.  The little motor has manual oil spouts 
which I put some non-detergent oil in every so often.  Been working well 
for over a year now.

I was going to remodel one of my champion or buffalo manual blowers with 
a motor to do this job until I found this unit.
