That is a good workaround, but I meant to say that I have more than enough  
to make the run, but not to make multiple runs.
The danger for me in doing that would be my lisdexia kicking in and  
splicing the right wire to the wrong wire.
Isn't there a simple formula to find out how many 220 amps the welder is  
drawing at a given setting? Seems like I've done that before... anyway,  
what I don't get is, the welder is rated to run on a 30A breaker, so I  
don't get why cable rated for 30A won't do the job. So confusing..
