I have the 4 1/2" Metabo and it's a pleasure to use...almost ( well, it
is grinding after all). It gets used preferentially over the Milwaulkee.
I bought 2 new Milwaukee grinders a few years ago and they were
disappointing, to say the least. 3 repairs later only 1 still works,
(the other snapped it's main power shaft) and the working one is noisy
and vibrates more than it should.
Dave, are you using slitting disks? pf
