Terry,
I have to turn the question around back at you: What it the purpose
of the books in the shop?
I agree with David about Machinery's Handbook. I use it all the time.
I should probably get a second copy for the shop. I use it, though,
mostly for machining- and hardware-related matters, not for
blacksmithing.
Some of the books Mike has listed are inspirational, but I wouldn't
keep them in the shop. Others are practical, but of limited coverage.
So without knowing what the books are for I can't really recommend
anything.
