[TheForge] glue not effected by gasoline?

I am assuming a plastic tank?

If so I have seen "welding" sets for plastic. My auto mechanic lent me 
one for repairing a light fixture on the car.
If metal think thoroughly removing all gasoline and brazing a patch in
