[TheForge] reversal of fortunes in a blink of an eye

Medical costs are the most common cause of bankruptcy and foreclosure in
this country today.
Our sketchy medical insurance is the biggest item in our budget.
Sure pushes me hard towards socialism on this subject.
In the face of no specific directive, it's the Dr's job to try to save
anyone they can. I don't want them making decisions for me otherwise.

Spent the morning husbanding ( if that's the right word) an accident on
our corner. A college student on a medium sized motorcycle took the
corner wide and hit the wheel and fender of a rental car. Trashed the
front end of the bike and the front corner of the nissan car..flattened
the wheel and knocked it askew.
The guy's pinky was bruised.
A good accident.
