Just think of the number of problems that we could solve.
In the 70's I read somewhere that they figured the fossil fuel reserves 
under Illinois would have supplied what was then world energy needs for 
300 years.
I am thinking an open pit operation. When it was all dug out we could 
extend the great lakes system and go from having 1/3 of the worlds fresh 
water supply to something closer to 1/2. Lake Illinois?
