[TheForge] stainless rust

Nitric is a pain to get unless you know someone in a chemistry lab. Will a
soak in muriatic clean up stainless after it is forged?

Muriatic acid should do nicely.

As for passivating - perhaps one may apply nitric to the rail in place?
