[TheForge] shipping and rates

hello;

several times in the past ten years there has been a discussion of
shipping rates and ways to get a low shiopping rate. find a truck that
is going to be deadheading to your general location from the general
location of the material that needs to be shipped. find a truck that is
nearly fully loaded that is in the general area of the material that
needs to be shipped and that is coming to a location in your general
area. there were several other suggestions.

of the 3 of us who would have been on the road trip, 2 of us the doctors
will not give a medical release to go traveling. :-(

so i need to either use calumet industries shipper of choice or come up
with an alternate shipper.

any suggestions, comments, hints, flames etc would be most welcome.
