[TheForge] autodarkening SHIELD! really

I've had an Arc One brand auto lens (arc-powered, no batteries to change)
for upwards of 10 years that still works well. It's still in the Huntsman
951p hood that I put it in when I bought it. The 951p hood is still fine,
but the ratchet could stand to be replaced. Used it heavily the first few
years, then I became a field ironworker, where I needed a hood that would
fit on a hardhat (fibre-metal flip up style), so I've only used it for
projects around the house for the last several years.
George.

Is there any general consensus as to which is the best, most durable,
large window shield ? pf
