[TheForge] Sash weight

All the ones I have seen are a nasty grade of cast iron.
If you don't have a use for it wearing safety glass and other protective
gear prop up both ends and hit in middle with sledge.  I should brake if
cast if it bends it is something else.

I just received a sash weight as a gift.

Anybody know what they are made of?  It's pretty rusty. It looks like cast
iron, but I suppose it could be wrought iron.
