It's pretty.

I know the subject hasn't come up here in a while but 
we have discussed how much better looking the old tools 
are than the new mass stamped versions.

I can't think of another reason to make a hydraulic 
press like that.

Maybe he's only feathering the treadle and if he stomps 
it it will hit like a hammer.

Regardless if I ever find myself with a spare piece of 
plate and some time. . . All it needs are google eyes 
and antenna.

What's the advantage of moving the whole top-lever 
piece, if it is not
about momentum or mechanical gain from the lever?
It looks really cool, but I fail to see how it is more 
functional than
a C-frame press of similar look, with the cylinder 
in-line with the
work.
Please explain :)  I like its lines a lot though, and 
it looks easy to
both move around and move around :)
