[TheForge] Question about MIG welding, spray deposition?

Right now for me it's like forge welding once was- a miraculous operation  
that some folks do but I don't know how to make happen. I've tried just  
turning the steam way up on my millermatic but odd things happen that  
don't resemble what you're describing.
If you should feel like it, how about settings for spray on a given  
material, such as 1/4" plate?
