[TheForge] Question about MIG welding, spray deposition?

Andy and James:
I'm the wrong person to answer but that's never stopped me before.
So far as i can see at this point, the main advantages to spray
deposition are that it's faster, low spatter and better penetration..it
also seems to be less sensitive to the odd bit of rust and crud.
The web site was talking .035 wire, 420 to 700 IPM wire feed speed, 180
to 350 amps, and 25 to 34 volts..electrode positive.
They suggest getting spray with the volts a bit low and upping the
voltage till the noisy crackling sound quiets some and the bead flattens
some..too high and it gets quiet and the puddle gets runny.pf
