I was demonstrating at a local "1840's Day" event today, and rung my
anvil at 12:30 CDT, and while explaining the tribute, a woman in the
crowd, visiting from South Carolina mentioned that she saw an article
about Phillip Simmons in the local paper. She was impressed about the
tribute, and the anvil ringing traditions.
So, well I was happy to participate. Thanks for the suggestion to the
group. It helped make my day. (Luckily I was in a shady spot with a
nice breeze. I didn't even realize it was 90 degrees out.)
