Another thing to consider is that old propane tanks that have seen a lot 
of refils, end up with a pool of oily liquids, including a fair dose of 
the odorant, sitting in the bottom. Once you have uncorked the bottle, 
you'll want to drain this stinky stuff out real well and save in in a 
sealed jar for proper disposal.
