There seems to be a problem here that's more serious than money and septic
tanks. I agree, maybe you should get away from the family, or maybe they
should get away from you. Either way there's the possibility of some real
serious problems. I just can't even imagine someone talking about their
family that way on a public forum, on Fathers day no less.

Subject: [TheForge] so much for this father's day
hello;
i am foolish to think that there is such a thing as a simple project.
putting up a chain link fence should not be that complicated. today, my
middle daughter and my son decided to help goode olde dad out by digging
some post holes with the 3-pt hitch post hole digger. my son thought it
really funny when he hit the first septic field tile, and my middle daughter
thought it just 'dumb luck' that they hit a 2nd septic field tile 32 ft from
the first one. so suddenly the fence building project became an access the
damage to the septic field tiles and call a septic field service emergency
telephone number. this little bit of help will cost somewhere between
$3,000.00 and $4,000.00 usd in septic field repairs. then everyone wondered
why i was upset. so the chain link fence project is scrapped and calling in
the septic field repair company is now on. i need to figure out how to
return 100 x 60 lbs bags of cement mix back to menards and all the chain
link fence materials back to farm and fleet. i am tired of nearly every
project suddenly becomes a near disaster and my family's extreme cavalier
attitude that dad can just throw dollars at the problem to fix it.
i really need to get away from the family for a couple months..
