Seems like a whole lot of fuss about the counter rotating blades and the
elimination of kick-back...
Seems more like twice as many blades to replace at once and a more
complex drive than a circular saw that does the same thing.
I used a Panasonic metal cutting circular saw at work for 3+ years. With
the same battery. Never a problem with the saw. It was used every day to
cut copper pipe, plastic pipe, steel pipe (schd 40 mostly with a maximum
size of 4"... occasionally 6" schd 40), sheet metal, stove pipe, a piece
of 1/2" thick CR plate stock in an emergency, unistrut, threaded rod (
you can screw a nut on without filing the rod end), plywood and 2X4's.
sorta versatile. Used about 6 blades a year.
I loved that saw...
but I retired anyway.
Sure do miss that saw...
